The days have started to grow shorter, and in the place where I live, where the sun barely sets during the summer, the change is noticable. Stars have started to come out more brightly, and for me, who enjoy to watch the nightsky and think about the countless things out there, it is a beautiful and calming sight to behold.
It made me remember the input I wrote about the locations of the stars. In that update, I wrote the following words… “Consider that everything has a purpose and is created in perfect order. The very life of this world exists due to a balance of natural laws created by Allah.”
سورة البقرة ٢٩
هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَسَوَّاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Surah Al-Baqara 2:29
It is He Who hath created for you all things that are on earth; Moreover His design comprehended the heavens, for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and of all things He hath perfect knowledge.
It also reminded me of the input “a world of small miracles“, where I talked about the “unseen” world of microbiology. A world that we need advanced euipment to observe, just as we do with the stars out there, although in two opposite directions. Cells in our bodies are helping to sustain us, yet we don’t really consider it that much. There are also many elements around us that we do not really consider or think about, which are vital for us to live.
سورة القيامة ٣-٤
أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
بَلَىٰ قَادِرِينَ عَلَىٰ أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُهُ
سورة النمل ٨٨
صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ ۚ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ
Surah Al-Qiyaama 75:3-4
Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones?
Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers.
Surah An-Naml 27:88
(such is) the artistry of Allah, who disposes of all things in perfect order: for he is well acquainted with all that ye do.
It is possible I may go into more depth about such elements, given time, but as I started to think about all these things… it also made me think of the words I wrote at the end of my previous input... remind yourself of the huge favour He is bestowing on you for the guidance He is giving you. Never take it for granted…
It is somehow astonishing when I realize how much we take most things for granted… we take each day for granted. We take every breath for granted. We plan for the future yet do not even know what the next day will be like.
سورة النجم ٣٥
أَعِندَهُ عِلْمُ الْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰ
سورة الزخرف ٦٦
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَن تَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Surah An-Najm 53:35
Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see?
Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:66
Do they only wait for the Hour – that it should come on them all of a sudden, while they perceive not?
Remind yourself that each moment of your life is a gift. Just as faith is not to be taken for granted… try to think the same of life itself. I have shared the following statement before but I feel it is very suitable to share again here… in the words of Captain Jean-Luc Picard… “I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because they’ll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we’ve lived.”
سورة البقرة ١٥٢
فَاذْكُرُونِي أَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِي وَلَا تَكْفُرُونِ
Surah Al-Baqara 2:152
Then do ye remember Me; I will remember you. Be grateful to Me, and reject not Faith.
