I usually strive to make an impact with my words, to highlight something, whether it is a sense of comfort and peace, or something worth considering. So don’t be misled by the image… it is not a page where I am discussing poems of al-Mutanabbi, nor am I comparing myself to him. I just thought it a suitable image to use, given my interest and the topic of the page.
The poems are accompanied by a recording of myself reading them, as well as a brief description of the poetry itself. I hope the words will affect your heart in a positive way, inshallah.
