It has been a long time and I must admit I was genuinely shocked to see how long it’s been since I wrote my last input. I am still struggling and have yet to straighten out health issues mentioned in that input. I have to sort it out with the local health centre. However, I cling to the hope that it will solve inshallah kheir, I am driven and determined. Life is precious after all, and how we use the time matters…
سورة البقرة ٢٠٧
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَشۡرِي نَفۡسَهُ ٱبۡتِغَآءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ
Surah Al-Baqara 2:207
And there is the type of man who gives his life to earn the pleasure of Allah: And Allah is full of kindness to (His) devotees.
Writing these inputs is something I feel truly blessed for, and it is a privilege to know there are people who listen to what I share. In the end, it keeps me going. It is my deepest hope to keep doing it and that it is of benefit to those who read it.
Since it’s been some time since I last updated, I wanted to take a moment to mention about what I have in mind for the site…
I have been writing a lot of inputs regarding our path to Jannah and that is something I may expand on a bit more inshallah. At one point, I was suggested to write more topics relating to the life of our Prophet Muhammed (صلى الله عليه وسلم), and while I felt very honored to receive such a suggestion at that time, I also felt I wasn’t strong enough in my knowledge to be able to discuss such an important topic in depth. But rest assured, the idea has not been forgotten. Until now, I am investing time to deepen my knowledge in order to share my thoughts on this very important and noble topic, inshallah. I also received a suggestion to write about Surah Al-An’aam (سورة الأنعام) so that is something I will also look into.
I also wanted to mention that I have invested time and some finances in my intentions to start a Youtube channel. This project is something that I mentioned about before, I never gave up on those plans. It is my hope to start recording and share videos by the start of next year, inshallah. (Maybe sooner, depending on how everything goes.) With all this in mind, there is lots to look forward to in our time ahead…
For the next input however, I will briefly step a little outside these mentioned topics. While looking back on my past inputs, I stumbled upon my thoughts on the animated Disney movie “Raya and the last dragon“. It made me consider the moral lessons we can learn, not only from this one movie, but also from other animations and I wanted to talk a little about that. I want to show some examples and the benefit we may receive from it, so be sure not to miss it. My aim is to start sharing the inputs by Friday as before, so expect my next input on this Friday inshallah.
Also, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all the best to a special person. Indeed, I do hope you had a very good day today, (the 18th). All my very best thoughts and wishes, from the heart.
