The eagle has landed!

One of the first images from the new home. The week has been rather hectic, cleaning out the old home, moving the stuff over to the new place which is a lot smaller so I’ve had to prioritise what to bring with me and what stuff to keep in the appartment and what stuff to put in storage… a process which is still ongoing. It looks a little like a bomb has been dropped I would say. The book shelf behind me for example, now works as a temporary storage space. My intention is to have it filled with books when all this is done, inshallah… pray for me.

But I am seeing light at the end of the tunnel and can soon start focusing on updating with more and new content again. I have been looking forward to it. A clear sign that points to Islam as a beautiful religion of peace, and also a statement that has affected me a lot since I started my Islamic journey, is the following aya that I have intended to share my thoughts on…

Surah Al-Hujuraat 49:13
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

An upcoming input for this page… don’t miss it!

On another note, some of you may know I have an interest in the country of Jordan, but why? I am creating a page that will explain some of that fascination in a little more depth…

I will share something for now, a beautiful video with some exceptionally stunning imagery. (The song played is Enigma’s “Between Mind & Heart”)… let yourself be swept away like I have, and be reminded of the beauty Allah has created on this Earth… and the Power He possesses just by stating the words… كن فيكون… “Be, and it is”…
