The deepest blue
The most soothing green
The purest white
You’ve ever seen
It is warm
It is cold
It is many things, behold
It holds life
It holds bliss
It holds beauty you can’t miss
It is divided
It is one
It is shared by everyone
This place filled with wonders
This place where life does roam
This place, my friend
This place
Is home
I wanted to express that the world is not owned… but shared. This poem was selected for publication in a book called “The Voyage out of Darkness”.

Alhamdulilah…If we all shared the vision that the world is shared, the world belongs to each n every one of us, we each have the rights to breathe the same air, share the same space and live side by side, this world would be heaven…This dunya (world) is a place of challenges, of tests and trials… Each person given the gift of making choices, place of contradictions of extremes…Once we accept this world as a testing ground for our Iman n trust in our creator, it becomes easier to deal with the ever changing challenges we are faced with on a daily basis…Wasalaam
Beautifully put. Indeed, the differences that exist in this world is often a cause for dispute in some way, unfortunately. Strengths and weaknesses are seen as opportunities and becomes a race for superiority. We can see the same basic principle in ordinary day to day disputes really, no one likes to be the “weaker”. I believe that no matter what people experience in their lives, the biggest challenge that mankind faces in this life is the ability to express humility. Because of this, the biggest problem in this life, that most wrongs are tied to, is “pride”…
سورة الحجرات ١٣
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
سورة فصلت ٣٥-٣٤
وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ
وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ
سورة الروم ٢٢-٢١
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ خَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّلْعَالِمِينَ
Surah Al-Hujuraat 49:13
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).
Surah Fussilat 41:34-35
Nor can goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!
And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune.
Surah Ar-Room 30:21-22
And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours: verily in that are Signs for those who know.
