Happy Eid Al Adha!
I hope Eid has started well for everyone so far and that you are spending a beautiful time with friends and family, inshallah.
Indeed, I did the Eid Khutba this year as well, the topic was (understandably) touching on the trial of Ibrahim when he was asked to sacrifice his son, this time reflecting on us as muslims, to see his dedication to Allah as an example and to strive to maintain our religion in our lives, as some may face challenges in societies that expresses doubts and skepticism towards faith. The trial of Ibrahim is seen as a great example of staying true to faith and not giving up.
I have always posted a video recording of myself doing Eid Khutba, (here from 2022, and here from 2023)… however, brother Sameer (who usually do these recordings) was himself not able to record it this time. I am not sure whether anyone else did, so this time I decided to record and share an Eid greeting with all of you…
I hope it brought a smile, and that you are spending a beautiful Eid indeed. For those of you who might have missed it, I posted an update the other day, on the importance of personal striving/growth. Be sure to head over and check it out after reading this input. The best of times to you all inshallah, from the heart.
Peace, happiness, and stay faithful.
Eid Mubarak ya momen
Thank you kindly, all my best wishes in return 😊
