An amazing blessing

Something happened that I wanted to share with you. I was generally browsing Youtube one day and came across a comment on a video, (just a general video, nothing spiritual as such). It was from an admirer of that video… it said, “please don’t leave us until death himself forces us to part ways”. I was like… forces? Does the soul have a choice when its time has come? Nothing is forced.

Surah As-Sajda 32:11
Say: “The Angel of Death, put in charge of you, will (duly) take your souls: then shall ye be brought back to your Lord.”

Surah Aal-i-Imraan 3:47
When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, ‘Be,’ and it is!

Whatever thing He decides is not something we can resist. As aya 18 of Surah Al-An’aam states about Him…

Surah Al-An’aam 6:18
“He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things.”

Indeed. The irresistible. Somehow, the comment I saw made me imagine this following scenario…

… but rather a dying person and his soul instead of a rope. I was also amazed as I remembered that, incredibly, the scenario is also kind of described in the Quran…

Surah Al-Waaqia 56:83-87
Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-
And ye the while (sit) looking on,-
But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-
Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-
Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?

Mashallah. It is astonishing what kind of ideas people sometimes get… but the most incredible part, which always amazes me, is the fact that the Quran seem to have every kind of situation imaginable covered and explained. Most situations always makes me connect it to an aya…

Surah Az-Zumar 39:27
We have put forth for men, in this Qur’an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.

See what I mean? Alhamdulillah endless times for this incredible blessing that has been granted to us. With the help of a most honorable messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) who had to go through many challenges to bring it to us. Take good care of it and read it often, whether it is Ramadan or not. It is a precious and timeless teaching experience to guide us through life.

I hope that you are all well and that this input has inspired you to read further inshallah.

The best of times to you all inshallah.
Peace, happiness, and stay faithful.
