This is a world, of much variety
Where some are strict, without much piety
A world of love, is what we need
And now in Eid, we plant that seed
In gratitude we share
A time when we rejoice
That Allah gives us care
And bless us with a voice
I sometimes ask Him why
I’ve been so blessed, it’s true
For lucky, that am I
